Types of Auto Racing
There is no other sport that can give a lot of thrills and exhilaration but, auto racing. This is a sport that involves fast cars zooming around a track just to the delight of thousands of enthusiast. It is a yearly event that millions of people all over the world would gather together around the race tack to watch the auto race with sheer excitement. Some would even travel from a different part of the world just to be race tracks to watch the races live. There are two different types of car racing.
The first type of auto racing is stock-car racing that uses the stock editions of automobiles. They raced around the oval-shaped tracks that would normally last anywhere for about 200 to 600 miles in duration. NASCAR is a well-known example. It is the professional version of this sport and is extremely popular in South America. The stock cars that are used in this kind of racing are built on standard factory editions and often limited to certain speeds for safety.
The other kind of racing is called single-seater racing. This kind of racing is more popular in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia; while, Formula One racing is popular in United States. Unlike any other cars, these cars are noticeably different because of their large hydrofoils, slender bodies, and open wheels, which make them more maneuverable than a stock car. This kind of racing raced on tracks that curve and wind far more unlike the stock-car racing which raced in oval-shaped tracks.
Stock-car racing and single-seater racing have one thing in common; it is an enormously popular sport. However, auto racing can be a dangerous sport. No one would ever know if something would happen while you are racing but; because, auto racing bring fulfillment and joy to the racer they continue doing what they love.
